Product options

These durable row bags are the perfect companion to help keep your silage tarps and row covers securely anchored to the ground on windy days. With a longer surface area than our standard sand bags, these row bags will provide a more secure hold. You can now fill them with even more material, like rocks or gravel, to make them heavier than was possible with our original sand bags. And thanks to the built-in handle they’ll be easier than ever to transport around your farm!

NOTE: Due to the design of the opening on this bag, sand may not be the ideal material of choice when filling these bags. Gravel or rocks are excellent options that you may already have around your farm.

We tried these this year for the first time and we love them! So much easier to handle as a femail farmer than anchor bags also. THEY WORK!

Very well made and the built in handle makes moving them around way easier than standard sandbags.

Pretty well made aside from the drawstring

These are pretty sturdy bags. I've had the drawstring detach a couple of times during tightening. The switching that holds it in just isn't super strong. The best work-around is to tie a half-hitch,tighten a little bit, and then tie another half-hitch on the opposite side to shift the load from the switching to the string. I do this several more times and fully tighten the drawstring after the first couple.

While this does hold sand, I do notice smaller sand particles coming out while moving. At my local supply store, bags of pebbles are cheaper anyway, so I've completely switched to these.

Love these row bags!!

These are so much better than my old regular sandbags. I filled them with 3inch minus sewer rock and they are the perfect manageable weight. I also love that they are relatively narrow and don’t hold water and freeze.

These are wonderful. A little challenging to fill by one person but easy with two. Love the handles. Easy to tie. Definitely worth it.

Perhaps it was an error on my part but the bags didn't hold sand. Fortunately, we have enough rocks on the farm ;) and we filled with rocks instead. Cheaper and heavier than sand and so far no damage to tarp either just awkward.

Row bags are perfect!

We just got finished filling the row bags and they were easy to fill, easy to carry. My wife was able to carry two at at time with no problem. Great product!

I really like the size and shape of the row bags. They carry handle is a huge bonus as well. The mesh drains so they don’t freeze into a block like the sand bags I have. I filled mine with 3 inch minus rock and they are holding up great.

Does the job, but a bit pricey and had a few break

I needed something to weigh down a silage tarp, and these do the job, but I thought they seemed pricey from the start, and I had several where the string that ties them broke, or several strands of the plastic that the strings are woven through broke. I haven’t decided yet if I would go with these row bags again for a second silage tarp.

Also, just FYI for anyone who does buy them, the hole you fill and tie is on the bottom. It confused me at first and I thought I had gotten a bad batch. Also, it’s hard to tell at first, but there are 2 ends of the white string one the bottom that you can pull to draw it closed & tie.
