Sand bags are perfect for weighing down the edges of Caterpillar Tunnels, Silage Tarps and Row Covers.
Our sand bags are made out of a UV stabilized, woven material similar to our ground cover. They come unfilled (Buying your own sand is cheaper than shipping it, trust us!).

How many sand bags will I need to hold a silage tarp in place?
At spacings of one bag every five feet on the perimeter and ten bags down the middle:
- 24′ × 100′ = 60 bags
- 32′ × 100′ = 64 bags
- 40′ × 100′ = 66 bags
- 50′ × 100′ = 70 bags
Sandbag weight averages 10–15 pounds depending on amount and type of fill material.

Good bags for holding down silage tarp. Has enough length on the ties that I was able to tie a knot on one side and then back around to the other side and then around again (3 knots).
